Modeling maximum values of Parameter in MIP
Dear All, Pls, I need help to model my problem in GAMS. The problem is as follows: Given 24 hours in a day and 365days in a year which I intend to define as set h /1*24/ d /1*365/ At certain hours in the day is when the peak demand is likely to occur I want to make this a subset of h as follows: I (...

Re: Infeasible,no solution exist MIP using CPLEX
ProjectDATA.xlsx A million thanks Fred for your replies, it really helped me fix my problems but I observe something which I am just wondering why, for that same equation which you corrected for me: ComND(nD,y,h)$(ord(h)<card(h)).. CapnD(nD,y,h) + NCAnD(nD,y,h) =E= CapnD(nD,y,h+1); when I run my mo...

Re: Infeasible,no solution exist MIP using CPLEX
Hi, Thanks Renger for your reply.I was able to get a feasible solution with the MIP when I increased the existing generator available hours (GH).However, once I reduce it so that the old generators can not meet the load alone, instead of the new generators to dispatch, it doesn't. Instead it gives a...

Infeasible,no solution exist MIP using CPLEX
Hello all, Please, I am in dire need of urgent help as I have spent quite large amount of time trying to make this model to work but all my effort is futile. I honestly cannot figure out what am not doing correctly or even how to fix it. My code just keep giving an infeasible solution. Pls,can exper...
