GAMS don't show the "active process window" please HELP!!!

Post by Archiver »

Hi everyone, I have a problem with GAMS, I'm iterating with MINLP
solver DICOPT and when I run the model, GAMS don't show me the "Active
process Windows", and hence I can't do nothing that this feature
allows, like seeing the progress of results or stop the active process
if the model is diverging. I didn't do anything abnormal... What can I
do??? where can I modify this option?

thanks for the answer.

Ps: I'm using GAMS 22.8

Ps2: I tried uninstalling and installing again and the problem
continues.

Daniel, In the IDE try clikcing on menu item 'Windows' and in there
'Process Window'. If this doesn't help, try the following. Close the
IDE. Remove the file gamside.ini and your project file (xxx.gpr) the
first is located in a subdirectory gamsdir of "My Documents". Restart
the IDE.

Hope this helps,
