The syntaxes of my code lose their colors when I run the program! Why?

Post by Archiver »

Hello,

When I run my gams code, its syntaxes lose their colors and each time, I have to close and open the file again to recover the colors. Note that it seems there is no error in this code.

I would be grateful if you could tell me what the problem is.

Regards,

Morteza

Morteza,

The listing file (with the line numbers) is not syntax colored; only the .GMS files.

Does that explain what you observe?

Paul,

I did not talk about .lis file (list file)!
But I said that the color of codes in .gms file is vanished when I run this file. Hope my question is clear enough.

Morteza,

Please check the value

File | Options | Editor | Maximum lines for syntax colors

The default value may be too low; mine is set at 100000
