Excel data exchange with GDXXRW

Dear GAMS community,

I have a problem with the GDXXRW tool to import data from an Excel spreadsheet.
When i run the command $CALL GDXXRW....... i get the following errors:

Output gdx file deleted
Total time = 7984 Ms
--- data.gms(891) 3 Mb
*** GDXIN failed C:\Users\Daniele\Desktop\Analysis\data.gdx
*** Msg: No such file or directory

Any idea of why i get this error and how can i fix it.

Provide your Excel workbook and the command line how you call gdxxrw and then there is a chance helping you here.
